GET TO KNOW
Dr. Todd Ryser-Oatman

These last few years (or more) have not been for the faint of heart. This season of your life may be a time when you are feeling challenged in all directions, struggling to let go of the past, or noticing some harmful patterns returning. At a deeper level, you want to feel heard, and seen for who you are and what you believe you can still become. Therapy provides a space for you to do just that, building a life that is fulfilling, acknowledging the past, and then getting excited to build a life you know is worth living.

I am excited you’re here and considering this next part of the journey. I help clients who want to break free from cycles that don’t serve them any longer. This work is challenging. Often we feel stuck in our lives with depression, anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, grief, trauma, and relationship difficulties. These issues intertwine and make it difficult to figure out what we need. In our work together, my goal is to help you make sense of what changes will help you thrive. We all have extraordinary resources and characteristics to help us through challenging times. Sometimes we just need a little help to honor them and leverage them to our fullest potential.

Our safe and collaborative relationship is built on an integrative affirming psychological practice and rooted in trauma-informed and strengths-based theories. Clients describe that my style is open and flexible to meet their needs. When we begin to meet, my focus is on listening deeply to your needs to address the most pressing concerns in your life. Over time we work to define and reach your larger goals. Change takes time but in therapy you know I will be a trusted collaborator and resource on this amazing journey. I may challenge you in our sessions together, but I will also support you in building a life you are excited to live.

To accommodate your schedule, I offer flexible hours and can meet with clients online or in-person. I offer free initial consultations to see if we would be a good fit working together. Let's embark on this process together. Please give me a call, I look forward to meeting you!
